Crashes when loading .pshproj

description

I've been using version 3.0.0.0 of the tool for a very long time without issues. All of my cmdlets are written in C#. Over the past several months, every time I've tried a newer version I end up with inability to save and then re-open .pshproj files. Here is the sequence I've followed, and again these cmdlets are written in C#, so I am pointing at a .psd1 file:
  1. Open PS Cmdlet Help Editor.
  2. Click file File->"New", then wait for every module to load.
  3. Click on File->"Import Module from file". Then I navigate to my .psd1 file.
  4. Module is read correctly, commands are listed. I save the .pshproj file without any modifications.
  5. Close PS Cmdlet Help Editor.
  6. Re-open the application and attempting to load the .pshproj file crashes the application.

I loaded this into a debugger, and I think I know what is causing the crash. It was complaining about a nonexistant directory: C:\Users\<myUSERIDHERE>\Documents\WindowsPowerShell\Modules

On my system, there was no WindowsPowerShell directory or Modules subdirectory. Adding those two empty directories has stopped the crashing on my system!

Thanks for reporting. I'll fix this in the next release.
